The 1000 Islands Poker Run has been held in the 1000 Islands Region, one of the best boating destinations in North America, for 35 years. The 1000 Islands region truly is a boaters paradise! The Canadian City of Kingston, Ontario has played host to PRA’s 1000 Islands Poker Run for more than 10 years and has always proved to be a fantastic host city for this all-star event that attracts thousands of spectators and some of the fastest boats in the world. This is one of the most anticipated events for both participants and spectators!
More than 80 performance boats will dock in Kingston’s Confederation Basin Marina for public display Friday afternoon and Saturday morning. View the boats up close on Friday afternoon until 10 pm on the docks or catch the downtown street boat display and exhibits in the park. The Jumbo movie screen will be on the street both nights showcasing poker run highlights and footage captured from the helicopter. Watch (and hear) the boats Saturday, August 5th at 10 am for the official poker run start or catch them upon their return approximately 2:30 pm – 3:30 pm. The poker run card unveiling is also free to the public Saturday at 8 pm in front of the Blu Martini.

You can view these spectacular boats at all the card stops, or catch a closer glimpse and see them from the comfort of your own boat as part of the spectator fleet.
Sunday at noon is another way we have been giving back to the community. Poker Runs America and Power Boating Canada along with several of our kind-hearted poker runners have been donating their time by offering boat rides. This opportunity is a cherished memory donated to those in need.
Want to experience the thrill of a performance boat ? Purchase a ride for you and your family or as a perfect birthday gift with proceeds donated to local charities.
